Fraud Officer
Our Fraud Officers investigate all reported allegations of fraud including social housing fraud, Council Tax investigations, business rates relief and exemptions using desktop intelligence and interviewing the public. They liaise with other public services and internal teams to update client records and prepare comprehensive correspondence and reports for court cases. A requirement of the role is to have good legislative knowledge, providing evidence based on facts whilst also showing empathy in our clients situation. A Fraud Officer may be required to travel across the partnership locations.
Visiting Officer
This role will involve checking on empty, second homes and business premises using desktop intelligence and visits where further details are required. Our Visiting Officers will be involved in complying case notes for court hearings, updating our systems and client records, answering customer queries by e-mail, face to face and by phone.
