Staff Testimonials

Hear what our staff think about working at the Anglia Revenues Partnership

Operations Manager (Revenues and Benefits) - ''I have undertaken personal and professional development at ARP, including Management Development, online courses, Team Leading NVQ Level 2 course, The Aspiring Leaders programme and IRRV. We are lucky at ARP to have a learning and development programme that allows people to develop professionally.  It is not just about technical professional growth though – and if you want to succeed you need to develop your people skills, work collaboratively as a team, and help your colleagues if they require support. My advice to anyone is to stay motivated, have a positive outlook, learn everything you can and take every opportunity that is offered to you''.

Senior Compliance Officer (Enforcement) - ''Since working with ARP, I have become a qualified Mental Health First Aider, I have attended many courses run by Breckland/ARP. I am currently just going through some Talent Pipeline training which I am really enjoying. There are so many opportunities within ARP that come up. I also believe that there are so many opportunities to learn and better yourself through various courses that are provided. Even job share days are a great idea too. I say if you want to progress your career then you can’t really go wrong here!''.

Team Manager (Revenues and Benefits) - ''Since taking the role of Team Manager I have been taking part in the ARP Management development programme. I am also currently working towards my Team Leader NVQ Level 2. My advice to others looking to build a career with ARP would be to try and get involved in projects and take on additional responsibilities that will broaden your knowledge and understanding''.

Team Manager (Revenues and Benefits) - ''I have attending multiple internal and external courses allowing me to grow my knowledge and skill set. I still thoroughly enjoy every aspect of this role and look forward to progressing my career, learning new skills, and continuing to share the success of ARP. My advice to anyone looking to build a career with ARP is to explore all opportunities, courses, and qualifications as these may open many doors. Most importantly, do not be afraid to put yourself forward''.

Team Manager (Revenues and Benefits) - ''While at work, I have been on many training courses that have helped to increase my knowledge and be better at my role. I have been successful in achieving my IRRV qualification as well as my Level 3 in Team Leadership. My advice would be to take every opportunity that becomes available, even if you are unsuccessful, use the experience to learn for next time''.

Training Officer (Revenues and Benefits) - ''I, for one, could not be more grateful for the opportunities I have been given. I am always encouraged to undertake courses and gain new experiences, and I know I have the support of my manager when I do so. My advice would be... there is a great career waiting to be had at ARP, and I would advise putting your name forward for any new experience or job role that arises''.
