System Administrator
This is a vital role in controlling, administrating and providing the provision of an IT service to all team members and other associated users. With an complex and variety of IT systems internally and various concurrent projects, our System Administrators facilitate, maintain and develop our document imaging system and workflows. They are familiar with testing new software, statistical analysis, rolling out systems, extracting and transmitting system files and submitting financial returns within agreed timescale.
This a varied role, which needs both system knowledge and people skills to be able to provide training and effective technical support to all Revenues and Benefits staff.
Finance Officer
Our Finance Officers monitor and control the performance of the Revenues division by undertaking checks and reconciliations within an agreed timescale. They are responsible for maintaining accurate records, completing government returns, identifying and correcting any payment errors, assisting with monitoring budgets, advising of variance to Senior Management, year-end accounting and performance reports. The work will also include maintaining and transmitting Bacs files to & from the Partnership or host authority via the Bacs Bureau.
Admin Support
Our busy Administrators are involved in administrative support for the Revenues and Benefits service across seven councils. Dealing with post, stationary ordering, answering emails and returning valuable documents to clients on a daily basis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task and respond quickly to changing priorities are required for this role.
